  • Default judgement

Hi All, I put in a claim against E.on for 5k and they don't seen to have responded, its been 2 months. I've pushed the button for a default judgement. Any ideas how long I might have to wait for the default judgement to take effect and be enforceable? I'm due to go into hospital and I'm trying to get as much of my life resolved so I can recover. Or I will try and pass this to a relative. Thanks

Sorry I don't know how long the court is now taking. You could phone the court.
What I do know is that if the defendant files a defence before the court issues judgement in default, the court will not issue the judgement even though the defence has been filed late

Last autumn it took 25 calendar days for my case (Online Civil Money Claims).
