  • Missed Court hearing fee

Hello I've been informed that i missed the deadline to pay the hearing fee in a civil case. and that my case has been struck out i was suppose to pay the fee by the 20th February.
Does anybody know what i should next to appeal against the strike out. The defendant asked for the original date to be delayed which was agreed and i just thought that with them delaying the original date then would be asked to pay the hearing fee.
i don't work due to mental health issues and claimed help with fees to start the claim. any information to what forms and help would be grateful.

The defendant has admitted liability and offered a settlement figure which was below what i wanted call me daft but I'm assuming that they will withdrew that settlement figure now its struck out

You will need to apply for relief from sanctions, explaining the reasons for not paying the fee.
Lawyer (solicitor) - retired from practice, now supervising solicitor in a university law clinic. I do not advise by private message.

An application using form N244 to set aside the order and payment of the court fee. You have limited time to do this. Is a time stated on the order?

Were you successful obtaining help to pay the claim fee?
