Can I bring a small claims against the Council Parking Services regarding a parking ticket.
The council did not follow the correct enforcement process regarding a penalty charge notice. I had to file statements with the court and pay fees to get the process reset. After I asked the council for specific evidence I found a number of errors made. Before I could appeal they cancelled. But I’m still out £200 in court fees. I did complain to the ombudsman and they asked the council whilst they can’t force them to refund me can they at least consider a refund, they said no.
