  • overdales / lowel / novuna claim

    hi all,

i have had a claim made against me from overdales / lowel for a novuna personal finance agreement.

i have acknowledged the claim on money claim online stating i intend to defend this claim.

i do not recognise or remember any account with novuna personal finance.

i now need to start a defence but i dont know what to do next.

i have not received or seen any evidence to support the claim.

can someone please advise my next move.

acknowledgment of service was received on 18/03/2026 so i am guessing i need to be very quick now

    thanks

should i send a cca requster letter and / or cpr 31.14 request letter, and if so should i add something on money claim online.

if i should send a cpr 31.14 request letter what date should i put here:

"To enable me to file my defence and/or counterclaim, I require inspection of documents you mention in your statement of case ahead of filing my defence onxx/xx/xxxx."

also on the template we have the following in red,
"For your information and records I enclose a copy of the formal request for a copy of the credit agreement relating to this claim, pursuant to the Consumer Credit Act 1974, which has been posted to your client with the statutory fee of £1 today, xx/xx/xxxx.
does this get changed to black or deleted as the template says delete all in red.

should i also at this point ask for an extension while form my defence?

    thanks
