To me, it seems like a scare tactic. These sums will only become payable by the defendant if the claim is successful in court
Should i write a letter to them about it. I was thinking that they might be trying to charge me for a default notice which I cant remember getting back in 2012 which may be separate to allege debt owed. I only say this because of the line...'This notice does not take account of default sums which we have already told you about in another default sum notice, whether
or not those sums remain unpaid' - so it looks like its talking about two different things. I know the court signed for my letter and so they are under no illusion i want to defend it, but i wonder why they are getting capquest involved too. Its horrible, and if its a scare tactic, its working...and thank you. should i write a staute barred letter to them or just leave it until i file everything to the court within said period of time

Too much of a coincidence £205 is the amount of the court fee
IMO no need to write a letter

O.K. then they've sent this as part of there protocols when they've initiated proceedings. It's nothing to worry about, if you can upload it at your convenience without personal details and reference numbers.

Hi, so I haven't heard anything from anyone, but as you suggested, I'm posting so I can deal with my defence. Thank you everyone it would be great if you could guide me through what I'm supposed to do. Also, I think my last payment to the credit card was Nov 2019, so might not be statue barred.

Do you want to give them more time and see what they send?

Just a case of emailing Restons telling them they have more time to provide the requested documentation.

                              Dear Sir / Madam,

Further to my recent requests for information, to date I have not received the requested information.
I am extending the time to allow the Creditor to provide the requested information under CPR 15.5.

I look forward to hearing from you.

                              Yours faithfully

                              XXXXXX

So you don't need to file Defence until after you've received the requested documentation.
