Received a Notice of Application for Earnings Order - Wrong person ?? Help

I received a Court letter today from County Court at Manchester Civil Justice Centre.
the letter is headlined Notice of Application of earnings order. The Judgement Creditor is Asset and Collections Investigations. With address for Payee TM Legal services.
i called TM Legal services to ask what this was, after 20 minutes on the call it was deemed that none of the security questions matched up - my DoB, phone number, email addresss therefore couldn’t continue to discuss the issue as they said it could be a case of mismatched information.... this is worrying for me as court proceedings have been started in my name and at my aaddresss... I’ve checked my credit report and there are no CCJ listed or no outstanding debts or mid payments etc etc ? Does anyone have any idea what this is and how I should deal wit it ?

Please note I have no idea what this is for - TM Legal have advised I contact the court directly as they are now unable to discuss anything further as the security data questions don’t match up... I’m thinking this is some kind of fraud as they are stating that the outstanding payment is over £80

Hi Robbie, This will be some kind of high cost short term credit debt, like a payday loan. So to have got to an attachment of earnings applications there must be a CCJ. Is there a claim number on the notice from the court ? - your first step is to ring the court tomorrow and ask them for the original claim details and if possible a copy of the application.

It seems most likely you'll have to apply to set aside the judgment unless it is the judgment is in a different name and address and it's a court cock up, more likely to be TM or Assets cock up though ..... but try get the details off Manchester tmw, then you'll be able to find out from the original creditor if it was actually a fraud - or a tracing error.
