  • if wrong Title on Letter of Warrent Control is it invalid ?

Good Afternoon all, We have received a " Notice of Issue of Warrant of Control " and it has MR on as the title not MISS, but the rest of the name and address is correct, all previous communication that we have received and ignored ( yes our fault for not dealing with it )had the same wrong title on.

Like many others we now taking out heads out the sand and trying to deal with it,

Just spoke to the most rude person at the support centre ( im really not sure this is the court ) as she didnt offer support , so i think that may have been LOWELL not the court. The notice has missing digits from the telephone number and the number for debt advice line is no longer in use.

does the wrong title on this notice make this void as no such person .. she is MISS not MR ( no sex change )

I hope to resolve this as right now we have a terminally ill family member living with us and i dont want them turning up acting like they do on Tv .... on the same stance i dont want to pay them if its invalid

the answer is no, not invalidated.
Lawyer (solicitor) - retired from practice, now supervising solicitor in a university law clinic. I do not advise by private message.

Litigants in Person should download and read the Judiciary's handbook for litigants in person: https://www.judiciary.uk/wp-content/..._in_Person.pdf

I disagree here, they can only sieze goods belonging to the people on the warrant.

If it says Mr Joe bloggs and the goods are owned by Miss Joe Bloggs they have no right to sieze them.
