Hello all, long time reader, first time poster. I'm a claimant and I'm looking to compile an N244 to strike out a defence - any suggestions on how to compile this correctly - I know the points I need to raise but no idea on how to correctly write it?

Hi LANGBANK
Welcome to LB
What you need to do is give your reasons / facts and the law as to why you seek a Strike Out of the Claim / case, there maybe evidence which might help your case and make reference to CPR Rule 3.4.
https://www.justice.gov.uk/courts/pr...t03/pd_part03a
Although you've applied to Strike Out the case, doesn't mean it will.

Thank you Echat,
defendant's defence is a 'bare denial' there is no coherent statement of facts and no supporting evidence.
Defendant waffles on about other parties and other events unrelated to the case so obstruction of just disposal of proceedings/abuse of court process.
Defendant states claim is a vendetta however motive and intention to defendant is an irrelevant point
Statement of truth at the end of the defence doesn't include the correct wording and as such contravenes CPR Part 22
Multiple inaccuracies and false claims again with no evidence to support
