Strike Out - Multiple Defendants

How does it work when one defendant has lodged a strike out application? Do the other defendants have to do one for themselves if they want it struck out (for the same reasons)? If the application is granted for that defendant, does the case against the others go ahead?

Has that defendant applied to strike out the whole claim or just the claim against him/her?

I think just for them. They are the first defendant and a huge corporation. The others are individuals (with no money).

if it did get struck out, do the other defendants have to make their own application? What would that cost?

From what you say, it appears that this defendant's strike -out application may not benefit all defendants. If that is the case, you would have to make your own application, if you think that there are grounds to do that.

The court fee to be paid to make that application is £275.
