After entering the car park I downloaded the Q park app and registered my number plate and signed up for automatic payments by ANPR. I think as I registered after entering I did not get charged. Parked outside cinema so once inside turned my phone off and forgot to make payment.

Received this PCN after. I have not responded at all as of yet.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

i have received a county court claim from DCB LEGAL LTD on behalf of SMART PARKING LTD, for parking on a local pub car park.

the date of the contravention was 14/08/2022

yes i have parked on here in the past and paid for my parking, i couldn't say if i did pay on this occasion or if i forgot or if i even was there on that date.

the issue date of the claim is 08 may 2026

i acknowledged the claim on 27 may 2026

what should i do now?

how do i get them to prove there claim?

can anyone advise me on how i should go about this.

Threats made to him and... Since then there have been countless emails and interviews by Police and Insurance company. Two of the three perpertrators were arrested in a short while and released on bail whilst the other who is known to the police is still at large. He is advised to keep out of the way and not socialise in his wider local area.
The Police have verbally said there is no basis for the claim to be held up, but the insurers argue otherwise. This keeps being batted backward and forward whilst the victim is unable to get on with his life and is unemployed and depressed. Is there any thing that can be done? Who could he complain to? Due to circumstances/illness I never declared SORN but heard nothing from DVLA. If I were to SORN or sell it now, would I be persued for the 25+ years of road tax?
