Since reading all of the information provuded I have also downloaded a copy of the CCA 1974, posted as an attachment - it is easy to extract the relevant sections from this and print them so they can quickly be referred to in order to maintain focus on the facts.

Acknowledge Claim - within 14 days from Service

Defend Claim - within 28 days from Service (IF you acknowledged in time)

If you fail to Acknowledge the claim you may have a default judgment awarded against you, likewise, if you fail to enter your defence within 28 days from Service.
