  • Natwest Charges Need Help

Most of my charges say this Charges 31JAN a/c 12345678 £20.00

Is this a Unarranged Borrowing charge?

I also have similar ones but for different ammounts.

    Charges 31JAN a/c 12345678 £26.00
    Charges 31JAN a/c 12345678 £29.00
    Charges 31JAN a/c 12345678 £9.00
    Charges 31JAN a/c 12345678 £37.00
    Charges 31JAN a/c 12345678 £38.00

Can you advise me on what I need to do please.

    Many Thanks

I have attached the charges I am unsure of. I did post them hwere but the formatting went a bit crazy

I am using a form to add up all my charges and there is a column that says reason for charge.

I have no idea what to put in the column for these charges.

I have attached the form that I am using. I have had to zip the file up.

      Many Thanks

      Matt

        Hi matt,

        Look in this link for which charges you can reclaim;

            Hi mate

            Thanks for the reply.

            Lets take this for example

£37 which is Unarranged Borrowing and £9 ADGD

            I have charges for £37 do I claim for the the £37 or do I claim £37 - 9 = £28

            Many thanks

it is £28 you claim on that one.
The £9 is advantage gold, it was £6 earlier so the £26 is £20 UBF(claimable) and £6(not claimable), does that make sense, matt?

Happy was right to link the charges thread but the easy bits you know.
                http://www.legal-beagles.co.uk/forum...ing-guide.html
the thread above should help with the current charges.
Are there any unpaid cheques/ standing Orders? Is there any referral fees? They are all claimable.

once you are sorted, and want to take a break try this thread
                    http://www.legal-beagles.co.uk/forum...nclub-118.html

the usual suspects and a number of winning natwesters post on here. I would warn you that it is all off topic posting so not bank charges talk. The chaps and chapesses are all engrossing. I would not try reading the whole thread, you may be here for a week doing so. I tried but gave up after 2 hours through exhaustion

No matt, because it is a fee for services, albeit you may not have been aware of them. The charge is not a penalty for Advantage Gold

Please read the thread because on your list, there are charges part of which YOU CAN CLAIM.

so £26-- £20 of that is claimable
                      £29-----£20 is claimable
                      £37---- £28 is claimable
                      £38----£28 is claimable
