    From consumer experience, they are neither quick or fair. They have direct links with the very company experts the consumer is complaining over.....the very word "impartial" in dispute resolution is difficult to believe.

    What took them so longto rate FOS, the staff been complaining for years, let alone us peeps. and the others same situation.

      I was led to believe all along that ombudsman was set up by the industry to police itself. Like the gas industry I work corgi itself set up to start policing before the government were going to impose a regulator and I believe the financial industry went through the same thought process. How can you be impartial if you have a vested interest.
