        Re: Probate

Can you give a bit more detail about the issue. Who has made the claim against the estate and was there a Will ?

            Re: Probate

            Hi,
yep a bit more information would be helpful. What is the claim and who from?
Was there a Will? I assume so and that this claim is from a disgruntled relative?
A directions hearing although sounds scary is quite a straight forward hearing. I basically sets down how the case will proceed and provides the timetable for things like disclosing information each party holds, exchanging witness statements, obtaining any expert evidence if it is needed and the like.
Do you have a solicitor/lawyer acting for you?
With a bit more information we may be able to point you in the right direction.
I am a qualified solicitor and am happy to try and assist informally, where needed.

Any posts I make on LegalBeagles are for information and discussion purposes only and shouldn't be seen as legal advice. Any practical advice I give is without liability. I do not represent people on the forum.

If in doubt you should always seek professional face to face legal advice.
