  • Can I VT a PCH?

    Can I VT a PCH just like PCP? For example if i have a 3 years contract, can I VT it after 1.5 years? Many Thanks

    Strictly speaking, you can VT on a hire agreement, but it doesn't work in the same way as you think it does.

    The right to terminate is set out in section 101 of the Consumer Credit Act, if your total monthly instalments exceed £1,500 per year then that right does not apply. It is normally geared towards lower value hire agreements e.g. if you are paying for a bike from Halfords for example. You also can't terminate earlier than 18 months.
