Monument cheque

Has anyone received a cheque out of the blue from Monument for PBP, without having made a complaint??

I've seen a few threads like this lately ... although I'm unsure as to whether the cheques are legit or not (maybe @Amethyst has heard more?). It's kinda like a PPI refund isn't it??
