  • Delaying ccj part 2 help needed

    Hi again

    my original post is here
    http://www.legalbeagles.info/forums/...p-delaying-ccj

Ive been on annual leave and one of my coworkers was meant to be helping my client with the defence. Turns out they've not picked it up in my absence

ive rang my client today (first morning back) and she's written to capquest asking for some documents from when they bought the debt? And had no reply
shes saying she's filled in the online defence saying she's requested but not received these documents

i have no idea who's given her this advice but she seems to think this will allow a court date to be set and delay the ccj until her mother has the money available

    can anyone advise?
sorry to copy and paste the original thread link but I'm on my phone and I'm so slow at typing

basic story my client got ccj court papers, asked for 14 days extra and wants to delay the process of the ccj being obtained as her mother will be in a position to pay the debt over the next 6 weeks or so

she can't have a ccj against her in her line of work
