I ordered something off Ebay on Wednesday last week (July 12th) which was due to be delivered that Saturday ... paid for it straight via Paypal (that is linked to my bank account for ease).

It hadn't turned up by then (15th) and the seller had not updated the purchase to say it had been posted so I messaged them asking where it was. No reply

By Mon (still no reply) I opened up a case via ebay and within 30mins of that being done I had the money back in my bank ... nothing written on the case notes or anything, just the £££s back :0

    ........................

This is where it gets annoying lol

I ordered something else from ebay last night and went to pay via paypal (knowing full well that the money from before was still in the linked account) and it turns out that my PP balance was in the negative by the price that had been returned to my bank on the Monday!! I had to manually transfer over £20 from my bank to my paypal account to pay the couple of £s for the new purchase!

The open 'case' is still unchanged on ebay as I write, so I have no idea what's going on ... did the seller of item 1 refund me because I opened a case against him? Did ebay initiate a refund on item 1? did paypal?
Debt is like any other trap, easy enough to get into, but hard enough to get out of.

It doesn't matter where your journey begins, so long as you begin it...
