  • Unfair PCN Issued

    hello everyone

I am not a happy bunny recently got my car back after a short while in storage and had to use visitor virtual permits until I could get a resident permit. Anyway the story is I thought I was covered after getting a virtual visitor permit only to find that I still got a PCN of course I challenged it in the first instance and I had proof that I had a permit. However the council were adamant that they had looked into the challenge and were satisfied that is still had to pay the fine.

I was going mad thinking what are they on about and went to the drop in council enquiries at the local library and showed them the permit on my mobile and then showed them the email saying that the challenge had been dismissed. it turned out that because the zero had been entered as a letter instead of a number it had not registered on their system but I was not told this by the council originally( helpful not ) now I have to wait to receive the notice to owner to again challenge it.

My argument is that I believed I was covered by the virtual permit entered on my mobile and it took my money so who is in the wrong? I have x3 PCNs issued for this reason.

    can anyone advise?
