  • Controlled parking zones & Tickets

    Hi,

I've just received a ticket for parking in a CPZ but can't see the start sign and the double yellows in there finished before where i was parked.

Should there be a start sign for the CPZ and yellow lines? or have i made a big mistake?

      Hi Kati

Although I have fought (successfully) an alleged speeding offence fairly recently (I was, of course, 'fitted up' ), my knowledge of non-private-parking law & tactics is sketchy.
Maybe @ostell might be better placed.

A friend of mine almost fell foul of a CPZ in N. London.
Apparently there are extensions to the 'no parking' on football match days.
The match in question was the Wembley Stadium Teamakers team v The Outer Patagonian Women's Reserves or somesuch!
