  • Met parking

Hi I am new here and I am not sure if I have posted in the correct place, apologies if not. I have recently received a parking fine from met parking for overstaying my welcome in McDonald's whilst using their facilities. I appealed through their online form, but they ignored it, however I beieve they received it as they have now addressed the letters to me and not my husband as I was the one driving. We have now received a follow up letter stating it's overdue. I trying to find out what my next step would be as they have completely ignored my appeal. Many thanks amanda

      Hello

no nothing, just a new letter stating that my parking notice is now overdue. No aknowledgement of it, my problem being is that I did it using their online form, which I have no copy of, however they have now addressed the new overdue letter to me instead of my husband, they would only know it was me driving from the dispute I sent.

        Hi Chobberwife

Have you tried contacting the McD's manager?
They can sometimes intercede, esp if you are a regular customer.
Have you taken photos of the site signage?
From what you have said above it seems like they are chasing you as the driver at the time of the parking event.
Are you the named registered keeper of the vehicle?
If you could post up pictures of the site sign & the letters (obscure personal data, but leave dates visible) it would help.

Any problems with that, you can email them to our @Kati
