  • Letter before claim from Lowell for Newday

Hi, I've received this letter from Lowell threatening court. I think it's about a credit card from maybe 3 years ago when I was in the midst of depression, PTSD and an abusive marriage which caused a lot of financial issues (please excuse the sob story!) but ended up with me taking out loans, cards, overdrafts just to live on and then the charges just spiralled.

I'm out of that situation now so I dont need to borrow anymore but it's catching up with me because of course everything was in my name. This is the highest amount owed so hopefully the only one to go this far but what next? Do I start sending the request letters now or should I wait and see if they follow through?

Ha just found the section relating to this situation and it would appear that was a stupid question haha, so I should write asking for a copy of the cca first and mention in the letter that I am seeking advice. Am I missing anything?
