I am a little confused about this situation pic... did you not pay the mortgage because you didnt want to or because you cant afford it? I am with the rest of the others that have commented, while I understand it is daunting to have to go to court (I know because I was 3 days before court date when I got my repo stopped) you really should attend. I know you are moving away to a new life, but what happens if you hate it there and want to come home, I know you might not want to at the minute, but what if? if you dont try and at least fight the case a little, the house will be repossessed and you wont find it easy to get another mortgage should you need to come home... I really think you should go to court.

I tend to agree - you need to understand everything that is involved and the options open to you .
