  • No or little Water

We live in a new build, we have a shared water supply with our only neighbour.

The isssue is the water is supplied via a 1 inch pipe which runs approx 250 meters from the next batch of houses, we lose pressure and quite often in the summer months have no water.
The water board have said it is not their problem because they supply water even though it is not what we need. They have quoted us £80,000 to put in an "upgraded supply"!

The two new houses are both struggling with lack of water, there were houses there before, if that is relevant.

    Hi and welcome

As your supplier is taking a rather odd stand on this matter, Iimo your next step is to contact OFWAT http://www.ofwat.gov.uk/households/s...ater-pressure/
