I would hold off responding to this at the moment, you don't want to give them the opportunity to rectify their possible mistake that they purport this to be a deed of assignment.

it would , however help to clarifiey matters if you could give us some insight as to what this claim is for

So okay, how do I proceed with this!?

The debt is for unsecured credit card taken out online in 2011.

The CCA they gave me was too small to read.

So the default entered on your credit file is for August 2012 ( you believe it should be June 2012 ) and due to fall off in August 2018.

Drydens haven't entered a new default, just taken over reporting the MBNA default that was entered August 2012.

Is there a court claim in the mix or are you just concerned about your credit file ?

Possibly as it's coming up to 6 years.

So you entered into an IVA in 2012 - was this debt not included in that ?

Re: Is this a Deed of Assignment legit?

So surely it should all be done and dusted ? Have they started chasing you hence your asking for the DoA ? Or is it just that it's appeared on your credit file ? ( have you checked the other credit files as sometimes things are only reported to one or another not all of them )

If your IVA was June 2012 then your credit file should look quite clear from August 2018 ?

What exactly are you trying to do ? Get Drydens to change the default date to June 2012 ? ( not likely to happen as generally within 6 months of the actual default is classed as 'accurate' for reporting purposes )

I feel like I'm missing something here, is there another thread on this debt about somewhere ?

From what I understand your IVA failed so the debt (and the other debts) wouldn't have been written off.

Sorry. It will teach me in future to read other posters threads before comitting to a answer. I can understand how you guys in the legal beagles team can not always respond for a few days to questions. Qudos to you all.

Re: Max Recovery Limited - MBNA Debt

The only reason why I've contacted Drydens is they updated the credit file end of May this year.

They can't provide me with ther DoA.

The Information Commissioner's Office has told me they are in breach of Principle 4 of the data protection act
, and its something they would be interested in looking at.

Do you think I should write back saying that the "Notice" is not valid as my details are missing?
