    Now you have a judgment against you you would be needing to apply to have it set aside to be able to defend the claim.

    Were you previously on Getoutofdebtfree ? ( just with the 'title of the instrument' stuff you mention) three letter process type stuff ?

    Did you send a CCA request to them on receipt of the claim ?

    You've agreed a settlement of £12k - have you agreed that through the court or by negotiation ? and is that by installments or in one lump sum ? If this is the case you should have a consent order arranged which makes the claimants remove the interim charge when you've paid, or get the final charge if you fail to pay ? Do you have that ?

    An interim charging order isn't really awarded, just applied for, the Final Charging order is what you would be defending - have you had notice of a hearing for the final charging order? What defence on that have you entered ?
