  • Claim from Northampton county court

    Hi all

On 30th of May,I received a claim from the Northampton county court dated 26th May
It was credit card i took in Feb 2007 from Capital ,10 years ago.I did not have a job for a long time
,and defaulted the debt on June 2008,and then it was transferred to Arrow Group .
i cannot remember communicating with Arrow Group.
I want to defend all of the claim, i believe it is statute barred ,even it was removed from my credit file on after June 2014 or so.
    on the Claim form it
How comes Shoosmiths is pursuing me now
    ?

My question ,what to write on form N9B item no.3(Defence)

What is the best action to take.I need to send form N9B asap as this Friday will be 2 weeks since 26 May,day of the claim

I am a layman when it comes to these things
    Thanks for reading my query

Re: Claim from Northampton county court

    Hi Ted, welcome to LB.

First steps - http://legalbeagles.info/forums/show...it-Court-Claim (click link).

Do not enter any dialogue in the defence box.
Just tick the 'defend in full' part for the moment.
This will give you extra time in which to collect evidence & marshall your defence.
