    Usual template response from them!
Did they mention the £1 fee?

You have said that Arrow sent the letter re not being the creditor.
Was it Arrow, or did Shoos send it?

I've never seen this situation before.
What exactly did the letter say?

                Hi guys.
Another update for you. I received a letter from arrow again today saying thankyou for letter dated 9 june asking for cca..they say again they do not except that thay are creditor . But are happy to assist in obtaining which has been requested. They will now request docs from creditor and will revert in due course. They have returned my pound postal order

Re: shoosmith/arrow global threat of court in 14 days

                    Hi
I have had some companies send the £1 back, maybe because it costs more than that to send someone to the bank and bank charges for making a deposit- who knows

It is also possible they are trying to con you into thinking you haven't sent a CCA request because they are not the creditor but they are and I would make apoint of this in your defence/witness statement and quote S189 CCA and Jones v Link ( I think- I get confused).
In a nutshell who ever is the assignee of a debt is the creditor which I think may bugger arguments when firms are not regulated by the FCA but that is another discussion
