  • Land registry showing the wrong purchase price for my house

    Hi all.

Approx 10 years ago I bought my house under the 80/20 scheme, so basically I bought 80% of the house and the builder retained 20%.

2 years later I purchased the remaining 20% when I remortgaged.

Unfortunately when you check all the websites that let you see house prices, mine is showing £144000 and not the £185000 which is what I paid.

I've spoken to the land registry and they tell me theres nothing they can do as my solicitors submitted the paperwork with that amount. The solicitor firm no londer exists.

Any advice on how to solve this? thanks

You contact them with three valuations. Zoopla etc. Takes a couple of months but they all seem to update.

When you say "websites" are you talking about paying and downloading your title information where it shows on the front the price paid?

Or do you mean when you search the Land Registry price paid information? If you mean this then have you tried using this link http://landregistry.custhelp.com/app...us_changesales
