    Hi everyone,

looking for some advice, i just looked up my credit score and saw that i have a new CCJ from an old debt that was approx 6 years old.
the ccj has been sent to a previous address so i knew nothing about it?

    Hi there

Do you know anything about the debt? who was the original creditor? Whose name is the CCJ in? Is it the orignal creditor or has the debt been sold to a third party.

Did you tell the creditor you were moving? If so do you have any proof etc..

      Thanks for reply

I believe it's an old credit card, in all honesty I haven't heard anything or spoken to anyone for years.
It appears to have been sold to a 3rd party.

I don't really know, but I haven't spoken to anyone for years, I believe it must be around or more than 6 years

contact the creditor and ask for date of last payment

I know it sounds ridiculous but I'm not actually sure who the original creditor was, or should I contact the company who bought it
