  • Reasonable Management Request

    Hi

I've been summoned to a disciplinary meeting where dismissal has been stated as a possible outcome, for refusal to comply with a Reasonable Management Request, and could really do with some advice as the staff handbook states this as an example of Gross Misconduct.

My team of 4 have been told that we have to complete a Discovery Insights Profile so we can 'improve'. For those who don't know what this is, basically its a personality profiler. I've done this previously with another employer and offered to share the results, but I don't see how repeating the process will improve me. This is a large company and we are part of a regional division, however my team are the only employees being asked to do this.

I stated numerous times why I was unhappy to do this, however now I may face losing my job over it.

If anyone can offer any advice I'd be grateful.
