    3. Enrol a deed poll with the courts

You can put your new name on public record by ‘enrolling’ it at the Royal Courts of Justice if you’re 18 or over. You have to pay a fee of £36.
If you’re under 18, follow the process for changing a child’s name to enrol.
Download the guidance and forms for changing an adult’s name - this includes the notification form for The Gazette.
Send your forms and documents to the Queen’s Bench Division.

Re: Do I have the right to own a bank account?

I have regestered my card(old name) and opened up an account with Noddle But I am unable to check my credit score
from the FAQ I am told that

Why can’t I see my credit report? And when will I be able to see it?

We don’t currently hold enough credit information about you to be able to create your credit report for you to view.

You’ll be able to view your credit report once you have built a sufficient credit history. To help you understand how to do this you’ll find helpful information about credit building in the coming sections.

I have read all the coming sections and not been able to find how to do it!

change of name scenario no doubt - did it ask for previous names> usually does on registering? as without it then there is no record.

just an observation = change name to be incognito and fresh start? then that is it nondescript until new pattern arises, Told somebody else decades ago change name then difficulties as no track record., they had a lot of problems as they were ducking real life issues, eventually traced as records of both names always trackable in time.

I have a bad credit history (under my old name), not for borrowing money and not paying it back but for non payment of fines.
What fines are these? It is very rare for fines to show on your credit record.

Are you hoping your new name will not be linked with your old name? That is unlikely.

Have you enrolled your change of name? this is a rather long winded procedure but after you have done it, I can't think of a reason why you bank would not change the name on an existing account. But this will then be reported to the credit reference agancies as a new name for your current record. As it should be.

You need to check the National Hunter and CIFAS databases uder your old and new names, see https://debtcamel.co.uk/name-fraud-database/.
