  • Claiming PPI for a deceased person

    Hi all

I am hoping to assist my Mother in claiming several PPIs from different lenders.

My Father passed away in 2007 and he held some cards, loans in just his sole name. My Mother has copies of his death certificate (as I believe we may need them) but we are unable to get a report from Experian etc (unsure if this would help as its over 6 years) - to pinpoint the particular companies.

My Mother can remember a few but not all of these companies.

I touched briefly on this last year but have been out of action for a while, so now want to pick it up again.

As I remember, there is something regarding Statute of Limitations Act?? - where you are able to claim from the point you actually discovered you were able to claim? - maybe someone could shed some light on this for me.

Also, is there a template letter that states you are claiming for someone else?? as I have looked but am unable to find one anywhere.

    Many thanks in advance.
