    Whoop whoop, just received a Notice of Discontinuation through the post from Lowell's Solicitors!

    Will of course follow this up by checking with the court in a few days but looks like this headache is easing!!

    Thank you so so much to all the LB's that have provided advice, support and assurance these last few months ... I guess we can add this case to your ever growing list of successful outcomes.

    Thank you once again, you don't know how much the help this forum has been to us both!

        What great news! Well Done You.

        Since you've filed a Defence the Claimant cannot start a new claim without permission from the court which they're unlikely to get if it's based on the same or substantially the same facts.

        That also includes any legal issues which you raised in your Defence even if they weren't raised in the Particulars of Claim.

        So the matter is at an end. Enjoy your weekend
