  • right name ;wrong address on documents

I need some basic advice here. I have been pursued by a parking enforcement company and have noticed that their communications have been sent to the wrong address .( The postman recognised my name ). The address is one that I have had no association with. I presume that is the reason why I did not receive the notice to keeper they claim to have sent.

What are the implications should a county court claim be made? Is it notice to keeper mandatory for all parking enforcement companies?

Awkward. If you do nothing it could proceed to court, albeit with the wrong address as the PPC hope they will get a default judgement against your name.

Possibly send an email to them stating that you have been notified that they are attempting to contact you but have the address incorrect. Tell them to desist as they have no claim against you, the keeper, as they have failed to supply a Notice to keeper in time.

Check that it is outside the 14 day timing for no windscreen ticket or outside the 56 day limit for windscreen ticket, or wait till it is. Don't give them a chance to reissue. Don't give them your address. They could attempt to correct their error but it should be too late by them.
