  • UK Car Park Management Fine x 2

    Hi All,

Not sure if anyone can help:

I was waiting in the car for my friend and at no point did I leave my vehicle. As far as I can see there are no cameras visible, I believe someone has taken this footage,. I have received two parking charge notices within the space of two weeks for two separate occasions with the statement "it is parked in a manner whereby the driver became liable for a parking charge.
I was stationary there for approximately less than 5 minutes on one occasion, the other has issued me a fine for the time of 50 seconds as seen in the photographic evidence that was posted to me.

I ignored the initial notice that was given asking me for £60. I now have received a final demand letter asking me to pay £100.00. I have also ignored this.

Can anyone give me some advice?

    Many Thanks

Do you still have time to appeal ?

As they belong to the IPC trade association you are not likely to win on appeal anyway. If they did court http://www.parking-prankster.com/case-law.html cases #35 & 36 would apply. Get photos of signs in case you need them.
