A LANDLORD who forced his way into his tenant's home carrying an angle grinder has been jailed.Grimsby Crown Court heard how William Clarke, 45, of Manchester Street, Cleethorpes, terrified Mary James and her two sons at their home in Julian Street, Grimsby, in September.Clarke used the power to tool to cut pipes in the property whilst threatening the family.Clarke rented the property to the tenants before trying to force them out after the mother fell into arrears.Prosecuting, Jeremy Evans said Clarke told the mother: "You started this and I will finish it", when she failed to pay the monthly £380 rent on the two-bedroom end-terrace.

    He deserved that

Sentencing, Recorder Bryan Cox said: "Having read the reports you show no remorse for what you did and believe it was justified."Clarke was sentenced to two years and nine months in prison.
