  • POPLA win over ukpc for a work colleague

A work colleague got a pcn on his windscreen where he lives in an apartment, and is allowed to park on the land, and he has a permit to park.Ukpc decided that because he wasn't parked in a designated bay, and parked on the kerb ,he was parked illegally. However,I decided to draft a POPLA appeal for him citing 3 recent cases where residents are allowed to park on private land, and that Ukpc(or any other cowboy outfit), did not have sole rights to change the contract, lease, or covenant on the land.Ukpc decided not to challenge the POPLA appeal.
