  • Unlawful Clamimg

Last week i woke up to my car being clamped.
i suffer from chronic depression and panic and get very scared by things like this. i am very vulnerable and do not cope at all well in these situations

i called the bailiff in question he was from Marstons.

he informed me that it was an outstanding court fine and i had to pay the sum of £612.

i assumed that it was my debt as they clamped my car

he returned to my property and because i cant deal with these things i paid him £612 in cash..

late that afternoon after i had calmed down i looked at the receipt and the receipt was made out to my brother.
    Not Me!

the car is owned and registered to me

the next day i called Marstons and i asked to speak to someone about this. they informed me that as i was not the person on the account they could not discuss it with me. i asked them why they clamped my car if the outstanding money is not owed by me and they told me to send an emai of complaint.

the upset and trauma this has caused me has left me very upset and to add to this i could not afford to pay that money and i borrowed it.

i want to take this further but dp not know how to go about it

i'd be grateful for any advice

    thank you in advance
