  • MET parking at Gatwick McDonalds

    Hi all

I'm in the same situation. Received a pcn from MET parking sac for overstaying for 17 mins at Mcdees in Heathrow. I wrote them a letter of appeal, which they did not recognise, but now have my details from the letter I sent them. Car is registered under my partners name. I received a second letter saying popla appeal is now not available, and have 7 days to pay the charge with threats of solicitors/debt recovery agents/ court proceedings. Any advice? Many Thanks in advance

Post up sanitised versions of the PCN, appeals etc.

Sounds like they are at it.

Met don't do court as yet.

Given that's a word document, i assume you sent by post ? Did you get proof of posting ? (this is why online is best as it doesn't get lost or cost)

Yeah, I sent it by post, but only 1st class, not registered so no proof of posting (very stupid I know). I was not given the chance to appeal online in the first letter from them, only the second.

            I see 3 options.

            1. Write to them via email questioning why they are writing to you again when you haven't had the result of your appeal ? Don't mention lost in the post, as it appears to be.

            2. Ignore and file all bar a court claim or letter before action. They don't do court yet but have 6 years to change their mind. http://www.bmpa.eu/companydata/MET_P..._Services.html

            3. Pay. (feck that)
