  • Private parking appeals - no contact! Can anyone help?

    Hi
Can anyone help me to understand why PPA is not getting in touch with me? I lodged an appeal with them in early November. I have rung and the recorded message says that calls will be returned within 48 hours.
    Thank you.

I've tweeted a few people. Hopefully you'll get a response although without any reference to who you are that may be tricky. (don't post anything like that on a public forum though)

Thank you for your speedy response Mystery1. I can give you my case number if that would help. Do you think I might do that on this forum?

if the OP would like to email info@privateparkingappeals.co.uk
I know you said you've done so but try again.

If not the only thing i can do is help with the parking matter but i'd need details to help (pcn etc) but as we do not know what PPA have or haven't done it's pretty tricky.

The initial response to the parking company should have been made by November 14th. Can you please advise?

Well there won't be an option to appeal any longer.

Can you sanitise and post those documents here ?

Also ask PPA for a full refund and if no good instigate a chargeback.

So a letter before action. I would normally advise responding to these but as the deadline has passed the decision on whether to escalate to a claim will already have been taken. If a court claim arrives then we can take it from there. Otherwise i'd just wait.

Many thanks mystery1. I was unwell and not able to compose an appeal on my own at the time, which is why I paid PPA.

As you advise, I will wait to see what happens.

Did you ever get any further on this issue? I'm so glad I found this thread because I have also got the same situation as above and feel I also have been scammed!!
I received 1 email from XXXXXX after my numerous calls/emails (again to a auto answer machine)... XXXXXX told me there was an error with processing my application and they had emailed me but I hadn't responded... this was rubbish as I checked every possible folder. XXXXXX has communication with me on a couple of emails and told me they would pass to claims handler and I have heard nothing. My original payment was made in November the same as yours... My parking charge has now escalated and I have had 2 letters from debt collection telling me the next stage could be court. Please can anyone help?? XXXXXX also told me not to pay this debt company..

                            Hi Forumite,

I have just looked at the communications above. Did you receive any further letters about this?
It seems the next stage would be a court judgement for a case, surely?

I have received a letter about debt collection and final warning with the next stage being advising to escalate to a court matter.

Once again I have heard nothing from XXXXXX and that company.. I find it crazy how they can do this and get away with it.

No, I haven't received any further letters yet. I almost don't want to jinx it by talking about it!
