Debt purchasers buy debts in large portfolios & the info they hold is minimal.
A SAR to the original creditor will get you all the data concerning any accounts with them.
You can then use it to check the accuracy of any info sent to you by the Claimant/sols.
          Very useful.

I received a letter this morning from bw legal, stating they are confirming thy received my request for documentation, they have referred my request to their client who may have to refer my request to my original creditor. Accordingly my account will be placed on hold until the documentation I requested had been provided and forwarded to me. We will seek to ensure the documentation u have requested is provided within 12 working days, however this is contingent on receiving the documentation from your original creditors within the time scale.

How should I reply to that letter or shall I just wait now??

              No reply is necessary.
However, stick to the court timetable. (Defence filed with the court 33 days from the court claim issue date, unless they agree/have agreed to the 28 day extension........have they?).

I have not heard anything from the court in regards to the extension, I sent letter back to them stating I was defending in full as I couldn't get back online through the government gateway, hopefully I should receive a reply Monday or Tuesday, if I don't what should I do?

The Claimant would have informed you; you in turn would have then been responsible for informing the court.
But it would appear that the Claimant/sols have chosen to ignore the offer.
