    Hi guys,

I'm looking to VT my car in the next month and need a little advice. I bought the car 2 years ago (halfway through the HP). The car came with a worn differential and a manner of other problems. The car is a 10 year old 1 series and it has done 67,000 miles. The contract mentions about the car having to be in a decent state for its age and mileage. What defines a reasonable state? The finance is with black horse.

I want to know whether the finance company can ask me to pay for mechanical repairs if I VT? I know about cosmetic damage, but what about the differential and the fact that there is a small intermittent misfire on the vehicle? It recently passed it's MOT and that's more than I could say for the vehicle when I first bought it.

    Thanks
