  • MET parking at Gatwick McDonalds

    Hello all,

I have been received a PCN and follow up letters from the METS parking people from a time visiting McDonalds at Gatwick airport. It seems we inadvertently over stayed our welcome, not on purpose mind. We had to wait a long time for our food and even then it was all wrong. Then subsequently toilet visits for the kids and it goes on. Anyway, we didn't seen any signs warning us of the parking regime and thus have received several letters asking for money for a Parking Charge Notice.
I've been through this before with Lidl and managed to be able to ignore it until they stopped sending letters. From looking at forum, I am not so sure of this being the best strategy. I would be grateful for any advise. I have now received a letter saying 'pay in seven days or receive instruction from solicitors or debt collectors'.
Should I be afraid? or should i just pay? or something more appropriate?

Latest letter dated 28th November and headed Notice Of Liability.

    Please help! Thank you

Sounds like you are way past the appeal deadline.

Met court cases are rarer the rocking horse shit. http://www.bmpa.eu/companydata/MET_P..._Services.html

However you may wish to ask the McD manager to cancel and if that doesn't work, take to social media.
