    Help! Parking fine!

    I was wondering if anyone could give me any advice.
    I received a parking charge notice from a private car park about 6 months ago, received letters off elite management then ZZPS and now solicitors letters of Wright Hassal..
    the letter says
    'We have been instructed by zzps limited who are acting on behalf of elite management ltd in connection with the recovery of the debt, which has been incurred following the failure to repay the parking charge notice and we require you to make payment in full within the next 14 days.
    Failure to make payment in full or contact us to discuss repayment of this debt may result in us recommending to our client that we pass this matter over to our litigation department this may mean they will look to obtain a county court judgement'

    Can anyone help me I don't know what to do!
    I am a poor student who cannot afford this!!!

    Debt is like any other trap, easy enough to get into, but hard enough to get out of.

      The relevant bits are "May" If it was for real then it would be "Will". Also ZZPS, as mere debt collectors, cannot take you to court as the have no reason to. The only people that could take you to court would be the parking company themselves. If it goes to court then ZZPS do not get anything.

      Who are they asking you to make payment to? ZZPS? Look at the writing at the bottom of the page, in light grey text. What does this say? Probably shows a company link between WH and ZZPS.

      Normally ignore.

            HI,
            They are asking me to make payment to Wright Hassal I think as the number given is the solicitors number.
            There is no light grey writing st the bottom however.
