    Yes that was the advice I received as the debt is under £10K.

    I did ask for it under CPR 18, as it was in the PoC, together with the default notice (the latter not mentioned in the particulars of claim though)

      CPR 31 is for document disclosure.
      https://www.justice.gov.uk/courts/procedure-rules/civil/rules/part31

      as the debt is under £10K.
      This is the usual financial limit for allocation to Small Claims Court, where the rules are governed by CPR 27.
      However, until the court actually allocates the case, the other Civil Procedure Rules apply & are valid.

      If the PoC states that the the agreement was defaulted, & it is regulated via the Consumer Credit Act, I reckon you should be ok asking for the Default Notice.
