  • Question regarding Gas Safety Cert and a Section 21

    Hi All
My Landlord has served me with a Section 21 because he was served an improvement notice after failing to do repairs and ending up with a £12,000 bill.I moved in before 1st October so the notice is valid.
A gas safety check was carried out in August. The engineer who did this was arguing with someone on his mobile the whole time he was here and said everythings fine and left.I assumed I would get the certificate in the post but have still not received it.
I've looked on the HSE website which says the LL has to provide me with a copy of it being done within 28 days which has now passed,so will the S21 still be valid without the certificate even though its been done?
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
