FCA and unregulated first charge mortgages

anyone know anything about FCA (or other) regs re unregulated mortgages not buy to let (first charge) circa 1998 - what regs or codes cover them?

i have since posting had repy from FCA - the MCCB voluntary code is the one

hello - quick update - this has been sold on to Promontoria Vantage? who are they? GE we know are getting rid of all the financial products - what paperwork should i have from the new owner - assignment or other?

also FOS say GE not MCCB lenders but i found them on the register???
