Re: UKPC Residential Parking and County Court Claim

You've been such a great help, I can't thank you enough.

When you say pre-action I'm assuming that you're talking about all of the invoices, debt collector and legal letters sent to me?

      Not really, no.

It's about sending a letter before action like this (obviously parking eye is a different company though)

Sorry so there seems to be two paragraph 7?
And if I had received a letter as per the example I would need to admit or deny?

It's the 2nd one which would be #8.

If you got such a letter just admit it. It's a thing that's almost immaterial anyway.

Excellent. May come in handy as I still haven't had a verdict yet

What do you mean not had a verdict? To get a judgement it needs to go to court first. Have you sent you defence in yet?

You should get a directions questionnaire soon.

Ok... I have now been issued a Small Claims Directions Questionaire (Form N180).
How would you advise completing this?

There are no traps here, pretty simple, name your preferred court.

Hi Guys and Girls, time to resurrect this thread!
Just had this letter through regarding a court date. What is my next step, what do I need to do to defend myself and what do I do to win?

There should be a date on there somewhere that tells you when evidence is required to be served on the court and the claimants (their solicitor usually).

Write a witness statement chronicling everything and make copies of your lease etc.
