  • I'm seeing Lowell in court next week for a CCJ, what are my chances?

    Hi all

I have received a court letter from Lowell, for a credit card debt from 2007. I have filed my defence and Lowell have sent me first copies of someone else's account and paperwork. When I challenged that (sent the court and then another defence) they have sent me a copy of my agreement with the original credit card, and copies of my account details and what payments I made. I was in a payment plan programme in 2012 and only paid like £1 for 3 months. Is there anything I can do/say in court to help not getting the ccj, I already have another one which I didn't know about . Many thanks.

And it looks to me the date on the agreement has been changed...the paperwork looks dodgy....

I suppose you have already submitted your witness statement

When was the agreement made, pre April 2007 or after and how much is the claim for?

Is the agreement they sent to you in response to a CCA request

How long ago was the other CCJ granted, why did you know nothing about it, was the paperwork sent to a previous address

        Hi Linus

Thank you for replying. Yes the previous CCJ has been sent to a previous address so only just seen it on my credit file. It was granted in May, I know nothing about courts or anything, I didn't know I had to request CCA, they sent the paperwork before asking for anything (I think)...I did submit whatever they asked but I know I haven't done it properly from reading on here ....on the agreement it says June 2007 but looks like someone has written over it cause it's a bad photocopy. Also the other ccj is with Calbot Financial and none of these 2 debts are on my noddle or clear score credit file....the claim is for £460 which I can't afford to pay.... so confused by it all
